Reminders for your attention!

Parent Partnership Development – First of two meetings on Wednesday 6th May
(Just to remind you: These sessions will cover how to support learning and resilience in our children to equip them for the future.)

Thank you to parents who have previously responded. Child care facilities have been arranged within school for the 56 children whose parents have requested care.

We would ask parents to arrive at 3.30 p.m. with a view to commencing the 90 minute session at 3.45 p.m. Coffee/tea will be available at 3.30 p.m. and children staying in school will be facilitated, with supervision, either indoors or outdoors according to the weather.

If you have not responded previously, and would like to be part of this initiative, please let the school office know.

The second session is scheduled for Tuesday 1st September 2015 at 1.30 p.m. if you wish to make a note of this.
SATS Week – Year 6 and Year 2 – Monday 11th – Thursday 14th May (External Tests)
Please ensure punctuality during this test week.

Internal Tests for other year groups will be held during week commencing 18th May to 22nd May.
Year 1 Phonics Testing will take place during the week beginning 15th June.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Readathon. We raised £472.40 of which 20% (£95) will be credited to school for use in the Library. The remaining funds will be divided between several children’s charities.

Friday 15th May – School Class Photographs
School photographer Steve Rosewell will be taking class group photos during the course of the day. With regard to school Sports Teams, please be understanding that this year Steve will take one inclusive photopraph of all children involved in sports teams throughout the year. This is to relieve the pressure on parents who have children in numerous school teams!

School Nurse Drop-In Session – Friday 22nd May 8.30 – 9.30 a.m.
Elizabeth Ross will be available to discuss with parents any health concerns regarding their child.

Please note the revised 2015/2016 calendar is now on the web-site. Thank you to parents who have returned the acknowledgement slip.

Sports Day is scheduled for Friday 26th June. Further information will follow nearer the time, but it is likely that the infants will take part in the morning and the juniors in the afternoon.
