Letter from Kate Green Labour MP for Stretford and Urmston January 2019

Dear Parents and Teachers

I was delighted to receive this letter from our MP, Kate Green. It is a reflection of the time and hard work invested in the children by everyone involved with St Michael’s; parents, teachers, external professionals and our governing body.

Dear Headteacher

Re: Latest KS2 Results

I recently heard from the Minister of State for Schools Standards, Nick Gibb, who told me about your latest KS2 results.

I wanted to write to offer my congratulations, as I understand that, at your school, the number of pupils achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics has increased. This is good news, keep up the good work!

On a separate note, I’m always happy to visit local schools to talk to children about my work as an MP or have school groups come and visit me in parliament. If you would like more information or to arrange a visit, then please e-mail me on kate.green.mp@parliament.uk.

Regards and best wishes

Kate Green
Labout MP for Stretford and Urmston
