Welcome to St Michael’s PTA!

St Michael’s PTA is a voluntary organisation and an association of which ALL parents and guardians of children attending St Michael’s as well as its teaching staff, are effectively members.  Members are entitled to attend meetings, vote on proposals and make suggestions for spending or raising funds.

The main objective of the Association is, in partnership with the school and parents, to enhance the education and well-being of St Michael’s pupils by providing resources and activities for children as well as enhancing the facilities already provided by the school.

The PTA Committee

The General Committee, an elected group of parents and teaching staff, has responsibility for, and supports the administration of all the affairs of the Association.

Getting Involved

The PTA Committee always welcomes and encourages new members, to ensure there is a breadth of representatives’ opinions for all year groups and also to capitalise on the talents, skill sets and experience of our parents and staff.

Meeting new people, knowing more about what goes on in St Michael’s, having a say in how money should be allocated, making a difference to the pupils experience at St Michael’s are just some of the benefits you will gain by being involved with our PTA.

Our meetings are open to everyone, so why not come along to one and listen to the range of topics being discussed – you can contribute as much or as little as you wish and chose to get involved as much or as little as you wish.  Dates of forthcoming meetings as well as Minutes of previous meetings are published on the website.

If you would like any other information regarding the PTA, are interested in joining the Committee or have suggestions or ideas about fund-raising, please do not hesitate to contact us by email on or alternatively drop a note into the school office for the attention of the PTA.

We look forward to your support over the coming year!
