MacMillan Coffee Morning

Thank you to all parents who donated cakes for the MacMillan Coffee Morning and to those 75 thank you.

Michaelmas Fair
s P.T.A. and all volunteers, for their time and s event such a great success. The weather held out and in true community spirit the fair was well attended by extended families, friends and children of s. 1759.07 was raised which will be put towards developing outdoor provision in Nursery and Reception.

Kinetic Light Show Thursday 2nd October
1 towards the cost of this Science themed 360 and the PTA funds will make up the difference to ensure all children are able to access this educational light show.

Policies Under Review
We will be reviewing our Behaviour, Anti-bullying and Sex Education policies with the staff and Governing Body this half term, in preparation for approval by the full Governing Body meeting on 13th November. It is important that these policies support you as parents and the school, in keeping all children safe from harm. Look out for the updated policies on our website at the end of November.

Free School Meals
on the school website, to guide parents who feel they may be entitled to Free School Meals. (This is separate from the recent universal lunch entitlement offered to all infant children.)

Reminders
Harvest Festival in school on Thursday 9th October at 2.30 p.m.
Together with St. Michael’s Church we are supporting the Booth Centre.
Donations would be most welcome. (Biscuits, cakes, tinned ham, tuna, corned beef, custard, asoups, toiletries, socks, hats and gloves.)
Remembrance Centenary Festival is taking place in school on Thursday 6th November 2014.

at home we would be grateful for any donations! (Sorry, no bedding, towels or curtains!)
