Newsletter 14 – Summer Term 2015

Tuesday 14th April

Welcome back everyone to the start of our Summer Term!

ST. MICHAEL’S CHURCH FAIR is to be held in school this coming Saturday 18th April between 11.00 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. A feast of crafts and hand made goods: Cakes, Crafts, Jewellery, Crocheted items, Glassware and Woodwork, plus, Refreshments, Children’s Crafts, Raffle and Tombola (Adult entrance £1)
Volunteer helpers and raffle prizes would be most welcome! Please support this event in any way you can.

Thursday 23rd April is St. George’s Day – If your child belongs to Cubs/Scouts,
Brownies/Guides they may wish to wear their uniform to school on this day.
Wednesday 29th April –Heather Butler, children’s Author will be talking to the children in Assembly.

Monday 11th May is SATS week. Year 6 and Year 2 – External Testing all week. Please ensure your children (particularly in Year 6 and Year 2) arrive promptly at school this week. Medical/Dental appointments, unless urgent, should also be avoided! Thank you in advance, for your consideration of these requests.

Readathon – Tuesday 17th March to Friday 17th April

Thank you to all children who have taken part in the Readathon. If you do have sponsorship money to submit we would be pleased to receive this by Friday this week.
