E Safety Assembly – Wednesday 11th February
Many thanks to the children for leading an excellent assembly on e-safety. This assembly reflected the work each class have focused on as part of e-safety week. We will continue to promote the e-safety message throughout the year. Thank you to all parents who attended our assembly, we hope you found this informative. If you have any concerns about the e-safety of your child, please feel free to contact the school.
Nursery Application – September 2015 (Reminder!)
If you have a pre-school child with a birthday between 01.09.11 and 31.08.12 they would be eligible for a nursery place in September this year. If you have not yet applied for a Nursery place, please do so at your earliest opportunity. We will be offering “top-up” sessions in Nursery next academic year and have the potential to offer full time places (i.e. 5 afternoons top-up) if required.
Nursery Application – September 2016
Birthdays between 01.09.12 and 31.08.13 – please request an application form if you have a child eligible for a Nursery place in September 2016.
Thank you for your attention to Nursery applications. Your responses will assist in our effective organisation in the future.
Gymnastics, Skittleball and Lacrosse
The children have taken part in extra-curricular activities over recent weeks. Their participation has given them valuable experience and they have worked hard to compete against some larger schools in the area.
Parents Evening Reminder
Wednesday 11th March 4.00 – 7.00 p.m. and Monday 16th March 3.30 – 6.30 p.m.
Further information will be communicated after the half term break.
PTA – Wear Red for Valentine’s and Valentine’s Raffle – Friday 13th February
If your child would like to wear something red on Friday please return a donation of £1. The raffle has been well supported, thankyou.
Milk in School
As part of the revised School Food Standards, I am required to make milk available to all children in school. KS1, who are provided with a Universal Free School Meal, EYFS and free school meal children will have milk available free of charge.
As there are cost implications for children in Key Stage 2, we would have to charge parents half termly if your child wanted to have milk on a daily basis. In order to have a clear ordering regime your child would need to subscribe to milk every day.

Please return the slip below if you wish your child to have milk each day with their school meal. I am anxious to avoid wastage caused by children not drinking milk that their parents have paid for or school has funded. Your prompt return of this slip would be much appreciated in order to ensure the correct order for milk is placed ready for the new half term.
