Mobile Phones In School
To: All Parents who wish their child to bring mobile phones to school
Please be aware of the procedures we have in place with regard to mobile phones brought to school.
- School recommends that children should not bring a mobile to school. They are not allowed to be used at all during the school day.
- Phones brought into school by children who are making their way home, unaccompanied, are to be handed into the school office, with a note from the parent explaining why a phone is needed in school on that day.
- Children will be asked to submit their phones on arrival at school and collect them at 3.30 p.m.
- Police advise that high value phones can make a child more vulnerable on their walk home from school and the child should keep that phone hidden, to only be used in an emergency.
